Am Recharging

I'm taking time off from blogging to
rest,
recharge,
and
reconnect with people.

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. ~ Martha Graham

How do you recharge? Is there a secret you'd like to share?

I go hard one day, and then ease back the next. That seems to balance it out for me.
Enjoy your break!

Shopping, well thrifting to be exact. An afternoon to myself, with coffee, and I hit all the resale shops in town. Love it. It's a chance for me to completely get away from everything. Love your blog header up there. ;) (sorry, the first comment somehow ended up with my old google account.)

Best of luck with your recharge!

I am glad that you are going to take some rest.
If the outdoors are nice ( spring or summer) I recharge by taking long walks and coming back and having something cool to drink. In winter time, reading and listening to some soft music seems to put a lot of energy in me.

Stepping away from social media for awhile helps me. I pretty much stayed off it while I was off work between Christmas and New Year's, and have had trouble getting back into it. But blogs, I enjoy more, so here I am. :) Whatever you do, enjoy your break!

Lynn, like you said, recharging rocks! Sometimes we have to disconnect. I could use longer myself, so I'm just going to ease back gently.

Take care, and be rested :)

I've taken a few blog breaks lately and was amazed how much time it freed up. I was able to get lots done on my WIP. Enjoy the break, Lynn.

I hadn't considered the electrical outlet for recharging. Hmmm. Might have to settle for that and wait on Hawaii.

I recharge by going on vacation. Unfortunately I don't get one until September.

I also recharge by having a really productive day. Makes me want to have move. Like Saturday, when I wrote 20 new pages on my WIP. I was psyched!

I hope you recharge and fill up on creativity because it's so nice reading your blogs.

What a concept! Thor has been running me ragged. I leave for WI tomorrow and will probably be off the grid too!
Enjoy your break!

Oh yes! I'm planning to do this soon as well (in February)- if I don't take time off from social media to write my new novel, I'll end up being a one book wonder and that won't do!

Enjoy your break and I hope it's a perfect time of R & R for you! :)

Enjoy the time! I haven't thought about how I recharge until now. I like to read a good book--a new one or an old favorite. I haven't done that in awhile...

Enjoy your break and recharging. I recharge by spending time in nature and making sure to connect to my friends and family. Happy New Year!

Something I've started doing is turning my computer off or at least closing the lid until my husband drops off to sleep at night. It makes him happy and me more relaxed.

Have a productive break!
