My Computer Died

Hello Friends. I'm super bummed because my computer died on me yesterday, so I don't know how long it will take to get it fixed. Figures, right before Halloween when I had some fun posts planned. This backup computer is hit and miss. It boots up once a week if we're lucky and freezes up constantly. In other words, a piece of junk, only good for playing Spades - my hubby's game.

I'll be back online as soon as my laptop is revived.

Hope to be back soon,

I am "Sawee, so Sawee", I mean I am really sorry. I feel that my computer is almost my third hand. we do so much with our computers these days that it is appropriate to call it our buddy. I hope it gets fixed in time for Halloween.

My hubby is going through the same thing right now. I keep telling him he can use my laptop, but he wants his own back. These things can be so frustrating. :(

Bleh! Bad news. I really am addicted to the internet and my computer. I could live without it, but I really don't want to have to try.

Hang in there.

That's some sad news. I hope you get it up and running again soon.

I'm so sorry, Lyn! Computers can drive you crazy....You realize how much you rely on them when they are on the fritz.

I know how frustrating that is. There is nothing like a break from the internet to remind us how much we depend on it in our daily lives. I hope you are back on soon. In the meantime, hopefully you can get some writing done without the distraction of the internet and without feeling guilty for not being here. You have a legitimate excuse. You really cannot be with us. Sometimes I get a lot of writing accomplished when my computer or internet is on the fritz.

Missing ya.

Lyn, I'm so sorry. Not a trivial expense. Miss you and hope you're back soon.

Oh, bad news. I had to back-up my previous laptop, and somewhere during the transfer of data, all of files labeled A-M disappeared, which included all my previous grad school work. Just glad all my writing was filed under W.

Happy Halloween Hop, Lynn - good to *meet* you! I'm guessing since it's Saturday you might miss most of the "live" action, but thankfully there are a ton of great posts and comments when you get a chance to catch up ;)
